Why you should be in our staff: My first reason why I should be apart of your staff team is because I have had a lot of experience in the past on some different types of communities, not to mention that I run my own server. I know not to be demanding, just assertive when I really need to be. I would describe myself as a pretty fun person to be around, so I'm definitely not a painfully serious person but I don't goof off when I need to be serious. Especially when somebody is doing something that they're not supposed to do, I take action right away. I've had experience with some staff that I politely ask them a question, and they immediately go afk so that they don't have to help me. I will tell you right now, you'll never see that from me. I will gladly help everyone and anyone if they need it. I'm very mature so you don't have to be chasing after me to do my job. That's why I'm choosing to apply today for staff. I think staff need to know a fair bit of information about the server they would like to be staff on so that they can actually help players. I do know quite a fair bit of information, so I feel that I would do a very good job as a staff member.
Experience if any: I do have a lot of experience. I've been staff on servers with 800+ players, and I've been staff on servers where there's only one player online at a time. I have experience with dealing with players who are younger and may not have the same maturity as I would prefer, but I have no problems dealing with those people. When I become staff on a server, I am an active staff member, just like I am now, as a normal player.
Are you in another servers' staff, if so where: I run my own server, called Lavolta Lava Survival. I am also staff on a creative server called EDawg878 Creative. I am staff on quite a few little servers but have never really stayed online enough for me to mention. I always find my ways of helping players whether I am staff or not.
Somebody's overusing capslock on the chat - what do you do: If I see somebody who is overusing capslock, I will immediately warn them to not do it again. I will understand that they may not be able to control it very well if they are angry, or annoyed at something/someone but it is still not acceptable to do on the server. If it is done again, I would tell them to maybe take a bit of a break from Minecraft or at least this server so that they can sort themselves out and then feel free to come back and enjoy the server. I would also use the commands that are necessary (i.e. /kick , /tempban)
Somebody's begging for rankup - what do you do: If I see somebody who is begging for a rankup, I will tell them that it will decrease your chances of a rankup if they keep that up, and I will be assertive about telling them that, to make them feel like if they really wanted that rank, they'd stop begging for it. I'd also maybe tell them that that's not the way life works and they need to understand that. I would also use the commands that are necessary (i.e. /kick , /tempban)
Something about yourself, it doesn't have to be long: Well, I like to draw and watch British YouTubers in my free time. I enjoy building modern builds on the server, but I've recently started building a few little townhouses that are a bit traditional or medieval. If I find someone who loves Zoella as much as I do, I will instantly become your best friend and we shall fangirl together over every single video/vlog she put on YouTube. I'm obsessed with cats and British accents. I'm a Canadian, eh. (Jk I've never said that in my life.) My room is filled with the Union Jack and I'm oh so proud. I've coloured my hair about 5 or 6 times since 3rd or 4th grade. Cats are life.
Additional: I wish I could write more on this application without going completely off topic. xD but here it is. I'd be happy to hear some feedback or some ways to improve in game and such. Thank you for this opportunity, if I get accepted, I will not fail to be a great staff member. I really enjoy the server and its community, I really like how this server is so different than any other server because there aren't just plots; there are worlds. I have brought a few people here and I will continue to bring more.
