Uggh
I can't freaking get my avatar to change!*I try a .gif file, and nothing happens to the 'This is your avatar' box. I do the same image, as a .jpg, and nothing happened. Finally, I tried a random image that was a .png, and I was like 'Does it accept PNGs?' and to bitter dissapointment, nope. No bananna. Can anybody help me find the right image file please? JPEG, GIF, and PNG file types aren't doing much, now are they?*Sorry for the agressivness

The maximum file size for avatars is 25 KB. So if it's larger than that, it will fail. JPEG should work. Also it is best if it is 100px x 100px in size.

My suggestion, which is what I did is to go into paint with your file and make it small enough to fit those perimeters and save it as a JPEG and then upload it. That's what I had to do since the picture was <way> too big lol ^^
