[Suggestion] Plot/World Custom Nicknames - CodeMadeTerra - 19 Nov 2015
Hey, it's CodeMadeTerra. I was thinking. When in an RP, it's hard to keep along when you're typing the character name then the test. So why not let the plot/world staff give you a custom nickname? If you like this idea, comment saying that you want this implemented in the future!

We've been thinking about adding something similar. However, up to this date we haven't found an easy solution that would satisfy us. To keep my response short: Minecraft is designed to show everybody the same nickname. The chat nickname is easily changeable, but other plugins, the tablist and the nickname autocomplete wouldn't be compatible with it (commands like /tpa wouldn't work for the custom nickname, for example). This is something we can't cope with.
We may reconsider adding this feature for Chat-only, but I can't promise anything.
