There's options to control the position of the sun in our maps, but it's too stiff.
I'd like to be able to set the sun at any angle above or below but there's no option for this :/

Players have access to "/ptime"which lets you set the sun at any angle. Currently there is no option to set the sun for the whole world. Maybe we will add this option in the future. Thanks for the suggestion!
