Why you should be in our staff:
I am certain that I am deserving of the Aliquam team as a staff member due to my dedication, reliability, and passion to create and develop a positive and creative community. Apart from that, I am also a good communicator and team player, allowing me to communicate clearly and concisely with other staff members and players as well.

Being part of Aliquam makes me really feel excited due to a natural affinity towards creating a creative and supportive area. My inevitable job responsibility would be to maintain the high standards which the server and its community have set and try to help it grow in a way that could be possible.
Not only my time and skills do I intend to, but also my pure enthusiasm for maintaining and improving Aliquam’s position as a premiere Minecraft community will also be part of the contributions.

Experience if any:
As I have already been mentioned, I was a moderator on a Polish Minecraft server, which happened to be very popular. Unfortunately, the server will be closed in the near future because of the money difficulties. During the period spent there, I learned a lot about moderation, conflict solving, and dealing with the community as a result of which the server became one of the most sought-after games played by its users to have fun and the experience was lovable.

Such a situation made it possible for me to get the hands-on experience in controlling the increasing community, being fair in the rule enforcement, etc. and as a consequence to create an atmosphere in which the players could be without any bias. I’m positive that these abilities help me to contribute to and be the support of the Aliquam community.

At the moment I'm not staff on any server.

What timezone are you living in:
UTC +1 CET,  Poland

How much time can you spend daily on watching over the server:
On some days it's going to be less, but in general, 2/3 hours per day.

Somebody's overusing capslock on the chat - what do you do:
If a player is overusing the caps lock key in the chat, I would start by politely warning them directly in the chat, reminding them of the server rules, and asking them to refrain from excessive use of caps (all caps) to make the chat more enjoyable for everyone. If they are still unwilling to comply with the advice even after the first warning and keep using their caps over and over, I could use a /tempmute command as a short-term measure to abide by the regulations and sustain an affirmative atmosphere.

Somebody's begging for rankup - what do you do:
If a player is asking for a rank-up, I would take a moment to explain the correct process for achieving a higher rank on the server. I would let them know that ranks are determined by the quality of their builds and encourage them to create something truly impressive in their world. I’d also mention that they can use the command /request rank once they feel their build meets the requirements for the next rank.

Why you should be in our staff:
The reason I feel like I should be part of the staff team here on Aliquam is that I feel like I'd be able to help the server out by being a consistent mod that helps the server out on a semi-regular basis when other staff members are unable to log on to help other players. I feel like my sense of maturity has grown over the years to where I can confidently handle any problems that are thrown my way and if I need any assistance I know who to appropriately approach if necessary. I would love to be able to help players out more than I am able to as just a regular player on the server. 

Experience if any:
Minecraft-wise I actually was staff on Aliquam many years ago but stepped down due to personal issues but I'm ready to jump back in and help out again. However, going back to my experience I helped moderate the server as an assistant and even managed a few small 'raids' before having to reach out for additional staff assistance.

Besides Aliquam, I was a staff member on an old server back in 2014-2015 that has unfortunately closed down. On that server I helped ban griefers, banned people who made lag machines and also helped repeatedly ban a player who consistently tried to bypass their IP bans. 

Outside of Minecraft I have owned and moderated a few Discord servers and that allowed me to gain extra experience in handling issues from other people by appropriately muting/kicking/banning people that were causing disruption to the servers. 

Outside of the internet in general, I have worked quite a few customer service jobs where I have had to deal with issues from customers whether it was their order being made wrong, needing a refund, etc. I learned how to appropriately handle the situation in a proper, polite manner without further upsetting the customer and directed them to higher up management if needed.

No, I am not staff in any other servers.

What timezone are you living in:
I am currently living in the EST timezone.

How much time can you spend daily on watching over the server:
I do have an outside job; however, usually I am done with my job around 2p-3p EST so I'd be able to spend the rest of my afternoon/evening moderating the server. On my days off, I would be able to spend longer on the server ranging from early morning to late afternoon / late afternoon to late evening. 

Somebody's overusing capslock on the chat - what do you do:
Politely ask them to refrain from overusing capslock, if they proceed to ignore my verbal warnings I would warn them one last time before warning them if they proceed after the third time they will earn a /tempmute. I would refer them to read the /rules and if they continue to ignore the rules after their tempmute it would extend to a slightly longer mute before turning into a permanent mute if necessary. 

Somebody's begging for rankup - what do you do:
If someone is begging for rankup, I would politely refer them to the "How to get building ranks" tab under the "/help"  command where it will tell them how to get rankup and how to request for one. I'll also refer them to the "sightseeing" tab so they can explore worlds to get inspiration as to what staff that judge builds may be looking for, especially if they are seeking a certain rank.

If there's ever a time where I'm going to be inactive on the server for an extensive period of time, I will make sure to inform all staff members as necessary so it's not looked at badly as if I had abandoned the server. However, most of my inactivity won't extend longer than at most 2 weeks--especially during the summer months if I'm going on vacation and won't have my computer nearby. I have a decent amount of experience of being staff on minecraft servers, and experience running my own too. Aliquam is the Minecraft server I play the most because I love the commands and the structure of the server, so it'd be great to help it run smoothly.
    • Experience if any:
      I owned my own server called "eightt network" late last year and early this year. ---- I was staff on a small server called "Divit's Survival Server" for around 6 months from august until it closed early this year. Here's the PMC for proof it existed: https://www.planetminecraft.com/server/d...al-server/ ---- I owned a few servers previously but they weren't as successful and most traces of them are gone from the internet (one was named PWGCraft) ---- I restarted up eightt network this June which is pretty cool, so now I'm an owner of that server

    Why you should be in our staff: 
    I have a deep passion for the creative side of Minecraft and I always have done and this is one of the of the only servers I have found where there is a really good creative atmosphere. For this reason, I have decided that I would apply for a staffing position in order so I can help new players get set up and answer any questions that they might have. As well as this, I enjoy having fun with the other members on the server and I feel I can add to this immense atmosphere of fun and creativity.

    Experience if any: 
    I don't usually tend to go for Staff options as such as I usually like to achieve builder status on servers but I haven't played Minecraft on any other servers for about a year or two. On the last server I was builder on - We had the role of looking over the server when staff members werent present so we had basic commands to ensure that the server stayed positive from those who decide they want to ruin the fun.

    Are you in another servers' staff, if so where:
      Nope, this is the only server I play on.

    What timezone are you living in: 
     GMT or BST when its summer time.

    How much time can you spend daily on watching over the server: 
    Currently, I have been playing anywhere between 4 - 8 hours online and during that time I do my best to help other players out or show them inspiration if they need any and I love it.

    Somebody's overusing capslock on the chat - what do you do:  
    At first I think a warning would be needed but if it is to carry on I think a Temporary mute should solve the issue. If the player is very persistant with their overuse of caps lock I think a temporary ban should be put into place. This way I think it gives them 3 opportunities to redeem themself before they effectively shoot themselves in the foot. The mute would all the person to choose whether or not they still want to play on the server, and if they do, lets other players build in peace without the annoyance.

    Somebody's begging for rankup - what do you do: 
    A quick reminder of the rules followed by the explanation of how the process will work. Again, if they are persistant I don't think a very short temporary mute would go a miss as it allows the player to carry on building as well as the other players - Hopefully it wouldn't get to this stage as a quick reminder of the process should work a treat.

     I am very much a hobbyist... I work as a Sales Assistant in a Bicycle shop in the heart of England as that is where my passion lies... BIKES! In my day to day life, I deal with customers a lot as we engange in progressive conversations to hopefully sell a bike and a lifestyle to them. This is amazing experience for when it comes to talking to players online, understanding them and engaging with them. In my spare time, I cycle a lot but I also work on Project cars. I own a MK2 Renault Clio 182 which is my pride and joy! And finally, I have also recently graduated from college with the ambition to go into the Marketing industry within the cycling company that I curently work for.

    Why you should be in our staff:

    Id like to join the staff because because I enjoy the community, and would like to grow with the server,
    I would also like to add to the the server in a meaningful way by helping new players with questions and

    About 4 years ago I was Co-Owner and programmer for a Star Trek themed server, my job included server
    updating, Resource Pack design, Server moderation, and providing new players with info and basic tools to
    navigate the server. I also have lots of real world experience in customer service. My real world Job
    is Web Design and Graphic development including HTML, CSS, Java scrip, and other web based programming
    language.

    Are you in another servers' staff, if so where:

    Due to the former Star Trek Server based in Germany shutting down 3 years ago I no longer am a staff member on any
    Minecraft server, I had stopped playing the game since the server shut down and have only started playing again within
    the last few months and that's when I came across this server and started working on all my projects.

    What timezone are you living in:
    Mountain Daylight Time
    Time zone in Alberta (GMT-6) Canada

    How much time can you spend daily on watching over the server:

    Because I work from home I am able to be on the server for most of the day,
    I can put in as much as 8 hours or more each day.

    Somebody's overusing capslock on the chat - what do you do:

    provide a warning and ask that they not spam the chat if the user begins to abuse the chat system and
    continues to break server rules and guide lines possibility of server ban could be put in place.
    I believe that people make mistakes and its important to be fair but if people abuse the system then

    • Why you should be in our staff: I feel like I would make an excellent addition to the staff team, because I love helping other people out whenever they have questions or if they need help using any of the tools that the server provides. I want to be able to contribute to the players more than I am able to right now, because I feel as a staff member you need to have a good sense of balance of knowing when someone needs help or not. And that being a staff member, your ability to assist others in a timely fashion is crucial not just on a Minecraft server but in other work environments as well. Especially when working in customer service. Hence why I feel like being staff on this server, given how fast it is growing, I would be able to learn to communicate more efficiently than I have been previously between the players and other members of staff as needed.
    • Experience if any: I used to be a staff member on a server that, unfortunately, no longer exists (closed as of 2015). However, I also have a little bit of real life experiences working with customers and dealing with any issues that would occur. My job was to make sure if there were any customer complaints, there would be a lot of reassurance that their issues were being taken care of, but without hovering over them about it. My main responsibilities involved assisting customers in choosing what they wanted to purchase, and if they asked any questions I would answer them to the best of my abilities. And if there were any questions I couldn't answer right away, I would either look for a solution myself or reassure them that somebody else that knows more will help them.

    • How much time can you spend daily on watching over the server: I could probably spend up to about, four or five hours on the server daily, depending on the day it is. Monday-Wednesday I could spend four or five. Most likely more, as those days are pretty much empty and not much is going on. Thursdays possibly less, as I tend to have important appointments I need to attend on that day. Friday-Sunday will definitely be more than four or five hours, as I rarely have anything planned and I spend most of my time on the server anyway, so there would be no issues if I needed to be online for much longer.

I would remind them to read the /rules, and that if they continue to abuse capslock they will be issued another warning, and then eventually a temporary mute.     • Additional: If I need to be away from my computer for a long period of time, I will absolutely inform the staff members just to let them know I didn't fall off the face of the earth. As I sometimes have long vacations that come up during the summer months, which means I would be away from my computer for no longer than a week at most.     • Why you should be in our staff: I believe I am an eligible candidate for staff based upon my maturity, for the most part. I know my rights from wrongs and rights from lefts. I am overall friendly and silly at times, but serious when needed. I understand the basic rules of the server and what is acceptable and asked of players. I understand my way around the server’s commands, so I can help players with their problems as prompted. Putting myself in players' shoes is a rule I personally always follow. To be respected by players, you have to act like a player. I know from experience, that citizens of a server only listen to you if you're understanding and as helpful as you can be. This goes with whether or not the Staff member is busy. I tend to go by the rule I see in everyday life; "The customer is always right." Secondly, I have a passion for helping and constantly being as nice as humanly possible. Even if I have had a crummy day, that all changes when I log onto this wonderful server, Aliquam, or as I secretly call it: Quam Quam. I realized that if you're depressed or furious, that upsets the people around you. Having a positive community is key. Thirdly, support. I support the server by voting and donating when I get money. I don't do it out of greed or wanting more worldedit limits; I do it out of my own self wanting to support the server that I love. Of course, the trails and beautiful gold star are perks that I severely enjoy, but to me, those are merely bonuses of doing something that I love to do. I support all players in a positive way. Yes, I am critical when asked of, but most of the time, I have good things to say. And where I see someone needs improvement, I relay some advice (if asked) that they have the option to take or not. My advice is never executed in a negative or harmful way!

    • Experience if any: I am very experienced in the field of staff. In my life of Minecraft, I can't honestly remember ever being a "normal" player, except for the time that I resigned from Aliquam, up until now. I have always been staff as far as my brain can recall (I have played since the 15th of June, 2011.). To start with, I have been a Moderator on a server that went by, Dharkscrest. This was a survival server mixed in with claiming. It’s nothing like factions. My Moderatorship lasted for a few months, but sadly the server was shut down due to lack of funds. Keep in mind though, I was a proud member of that server for over a year. Another server I have been staff on was a server called Blacklotus. This server also shut down after two or three years of existence. This server was a factions / bending server. I was asked to apply for Helper after a year and a half of playing, which I then did. Instantly, I was accepted and later promoted to Moderator. After the server shut down, a year later, a new owner brought it back from the dead and promoted me straight to Moderator. After another lack of funds, it perished. The final major server I have been staff on went by the name of D****aft, and later W****aft (censored because the server still exists (Updated: I am not exactly sure if it still does, but it is best to censor it to be safe.). I played on this server for five years. Staff recommended me to become a member of their team. The owner talked to me and later promoted me. Keep in mind, I didn't want to become staff but did it for the good of the server because that's what they needed. I was promoted to Moderator, which I stayed in that position for a year and a half. Later, I was unexpectedly promoted to Administrator and Community Manager. I learned a lot on this server, such as coding, commands, and other useful skills. I even aided in making the Forums website and constructed the Staff Application Center completely by myself. I had a record of thoroughly reviewing fifty applications for staff within forty-eight hours. I provided tons of help and memorizes for players, along with ideas and stress relief for the owner. I resigned from this server and joined Aliquam as a normal player. D****aft reached over 2,000 players in its early days, making this the server with most players I have ever been staff on. Back to the topic of support. I supported each server by being the highest donator. I have been staff on about seven other servers, but they were private or with low player count, so I did not list them. (These positions consisted of Moderator and Administrator only.)

    • How much time can you spend daily on watching over the server: I can spend pretty much any amount of time that is needed of me. Typically, I try to spend multiple hours a day dedicated to building and helping others wherever I can.

    • Somebody's overusing capslock on the chat - what do you do: If the player has already been verbally warned, I would simply </warm <username> Capslock.>. If this is the player's first offence, I would verbally warn them: "Hey <username>, please try not to use caps. Thank you!"
      Updated: I believe that the server now has an anti-capslock plugin that removes the enabled use of excessive capslock, so I do not believe this will be much of a problem anymore. However, if it is, I will refer to my methods above, unless told otherwise by Staff member.

    • Something about yourself, it doesn't have to be long: I am currently almost 21 years old. I was born in Italy, so naturally, my native language is Italian. However, being away from my homeland for so long, I am beginning to lose the language. My plot is composed of the style of Italy’s suburban and city life, along with Italian words scattered all over the world labeling what is what. I was promoted to Familiar the day that had I applied for staff previously. I am still currently Familiar (and Friend), but am working on my Builder build, and hopefully soon, my Advbuilder build. I was adopted into the United States when I was three. I have had a few jobs in my past. As an update from my last application, I am on page 114 of my book.

    • Additional: I am very well liked by most of the players on Aliquam. I have become friends with most of the staff and tend to keep it that way. I have over thirty-two hours of playtime, which increases everyday. I have also never been banned on Aliquam or any other server. However, I do have two warns that have since expired.

    on for 4+ hours each day

    to an understanding why they're overusing capslock (as their first offense). If I can't talk to them
    to stop, it would come down to a mute for a few days.

    very substantial amount of effort, and tell them to utilize /req rank and look at /help builds.
    Consistent asking would generally result in a mute or warning, but every situation is unique.

    nephews and siblings ranging up to 20 years older than me (18).
